Our place is close to white sand beaches, the bay and city dock, parks, tennis courts, casual and fine dining, shopping, live theater, and more. You’ll love my place because of its mid-mod ranch charm that has been meticulously decorated. Located in a quiet neighborhood it provides fine amenities, including en-suite bathrooms in both bedrooms, you are looking for during your vacation. Portable crib, gas grill, and pet-friendly are just some of the added touches we have thought of. Remodeled kitchen in Summer 2022!

Neighborhood

A SLEEPY BEACH COMMUNITY

Anna Maria Island is an amazing little beach town. It has a great mixture of year-round residents and visitors from the States, Canada, Europe and beyond. Once on island we rarely drive; instead electing to ride our beach cruisers, walk or take the trolly. AMI has a great selection of locally owned and run restaurants and shops with almost no trace of national chains. From Bean Point at the north end to Coquina Beach at the south, Anna Maria Island is 8 miles of sand and relaxation.

Throughout the year, there are a number of festivals and events to enjoy. Foodies will appreciate the Food and Wine on Pine and the Bridge Street Farmer’s Market; a “don’t miss” for art lovers is the BayFest (October) and Island Players a local theatre, or the monthly Art District ArtWalk. The Bradenton Runners Club hosts the annual Dolphin Dash 5k for those that like a more active pace

You will have access to the entire house accept for the owner's closet and a small shed. The front and back door is equipped with keyless entry. Now you don't have to worry about loosing the keys at the beach or in the water.

Space

The Beach Cruiser is a two bedroom mid-mod ranch home with almost 1,200 sq. ft. of living space in heart of Anna Maria Island. Both bedrooms include an en-suite bathroom, a queen bed and ample closet or dresser space. The house sleeps six comfortably with a portable crib (pack ‘n play) and additional blankets provided. Linen service provides beach, kitchen and bath towels along with crisp clean bed linens.

We have thought of everything to make you feel right at home. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes a coffee maker, toaster, and blender in addition to standard items like stove, oven, microwave and frig. Cable TV, DVD player, and Apple TV prpvide ample entertainment options in the living room and 32″ TVs are located in both bedrooms. The Florida room (sunroom) provides additional gathering space with books, puzzles and games for all ages. Wifi is accessible throughout the property. Recently remodel kitchen opens up the the living space.

Off-street parking includes a paved driveway that can easily fit two cars, one of which can be under the carport. The backyard offers space to nap in the sun, enjoy a pleasant dinner (seating for six) and has easy access to the 2+ acre green space adjacent to the backyard. A gas grill is available for use as well. We provide guests with a beach cart to assist in carrying all your items down to the sand for hours of relaxation or active fun.

Transit

In our opinion the best way to get around the island is on a beach cruiser which can be rented on the island. The Anna Maria Island Trolly is free and runs 7 days a week. Skateboard, paddle board, kayak, jet ski and boat are all options as well.

Notes

A DAY IN THE LIFE...

ACTIVE DAY
There is plenty on AMI to keep you active and busy. Start your day with a couple sets of tennis at the city courts located less than 500 feet from the Beach Cruiser. Then, poke your head into a few of the many shops on Pine Street, including designing your own donut at The Donut Experiment. The island’s clear blue waters off the coast are a great place to spot dolphins as you paddle board, kayak or swim. To wrap up, walk the beach at sunset and then enjoy live music at a local venue.

LAZY DAY
Once you roll out of bed take the trolly down to the Anna Maria City Pier where you have an amazing 180 degree view of the bay. Spend your afternoon at the beach reading, collecting sea shells, people watch and then take an easy stroll along the beach. Stay at the beach through the afternoon and enjoy an amazing sunset over the Gulf Coast. Finish your day with dinner at The Waterfront, but make sure to leave room for ice cream next door at Two Scoops.

SUPPORTING LOCAL FOOD-INSECURE KIDS
Our cleaning crew now partners with the Bradenton Elks Lodge No. 1511 to collect guests' leftover nonperishable food items from our home and creates food baskets for more than 500 children ages 5-12. Know that the food you leave behind is supporting local families in need.

7-NIGHT MINIMUM STAY
The City of Holmes Beach has placed a minimum night stay on all Short Term Rentals located within city limits. Because of this we can not advertise our house for stays that are less then 7 nights.

TRAVELING WITH PETS
The Beach Cruiser is pet (dog) friendly. When a guest wishes to have their dog stay with them, they should message that to us. This will allow us to have a conversation about your 4-legged family member. Typically we allow dogs under 30 pounds at $20/night. Guests must receive permission to have a dog at The Beach Cruiser before bringing a dog.

3.) ATTENTION PET OWNERS: This beach house is pet friendly, dogs under 30 pounds to be specific. When you book your trip, please check the "Bringing a pet?" box in the "1. About Your Trip" section". In the box below that please indicate the breed and approximate weight of your dog. I will contact you directly about the traveling pet fee.
