Vermont is a winter wonderland. Two major ski resorts, nordic skiing, snowshoeing, fat biking, dog sledding, and more! The Mad River Valley embraces all things winter and is an incredible place to take in all that the season has to offer.

Beer & Food:
Beer and food lovers rejoice, we love good food and beer too! Vermont's craft beer scene is abundantly fertile! Charming Vermont Farmhouse
We had a wonderful stay. The house was 'in fact "Charming" and meet our needs for a large family gathering. The kitchen was well stocked and once we got familiar with the dishwasher, all was well. We even had family photos taken and the farmhouse was a wonderful back drop. We are looking forward to returning next year!

Great Wedding Companion Property
Used this former Inn to house the groomsmen and partners for a wedding in the area. It worked perfectly. Plenty of bathrooms for getting ready and nice common area for eating together and hanging out. Was fun to feel like we had a whole inn.

Our group of 12 thought this was the nicest property we have stayed at
Our group of 12 thought this was the nicest property we have stayed at because every room had its own bathroom. We also liked the large dining room that could accommodate all of us comfortably. The double sided fireplace provided warmth and ambience. We appreciated the hotel quality linens and towels. This was a great home base for day trips to Shelburne and Burlington. The inn keepers were responsive and helpful.

We had a fantastic family reunion at this Inn.
We had a fantastic family reunion at this Inn. The inn could accommodate all 13 of us with plenty of room to spare. The kitchen was very well equipped. The various living/gaming/dining rooms were grand and really transported us back to the 19th century! The well equipped library, the garden with the hammock, and fireplace was cherry on top. Check-in and communication was a breeze. They even have 3 spots for EV charging, which was fantastic! The property is well located, albeit a little too close to the road for our liking.

Catherine
Highly recommend renting!

Perfect for large groups
Wilder Farm is a great, big house perfect for large groups. The kitchen was a central point of congregation, we never had too many cooks in the kitchen because it was so large. The backyard was a fun nighttime hang and the proximity to Mad River and Lawson's was so convenient.

Peter

Great Vermont house with room enough for all your friends and family. Would definitely recommend.

Shaun
It was absolutely perfect!
We stayed at the Farm for our annual boy's snowboard trip to Sugarbush. WE had a total of 14 guys in this house, and it was absolutely perfect! There are (3) living rooms, (2) rooms with Fireplaces, a HUGE dining area, a commercial kitchen, and the YOGA room was perfect for us to hang out in. The fact there are so many bathrooms, bedrooms, and extra sleeping spaces made this place absolutely perfect. Not only were there clean rooms with linens, but also shower supplies like soap and shampoo were included in dispensers. They THINK OF EVERYTHING for a large group. The kitchen is well stocked with huge garbage and recycling bins, they have all the bowls, plates, cups, coffee cups, and cooking supplies. There is a washer and dryer which comes in handy with wet ski clothes, and the mudroom was perfect for storing boots & Snowboards. The dumpsters outside make it easy to take out the trash. The caretaker Ryan reached out to me to let me know what to expect, and the owner company sent us the code the day before check-in to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved the place and definitely will be coming back!!!

Ken

Kate
I highly recommend
I highly recommend staying at The Wilder Farm Inn. My husband and I planned for our two families to stay here altogether with three dogs. We were getting married at The Skinner Barn (8 minutes away). This was such a fun experience to be together for a few days leading up to the wedding. Large kitchen fully equipped with all you need to make meals in, two refrigerators, plenty of towels, and rooms to escape to when needed. Most rooms even have their own bathrooms. The fire pit in the back yard was a favorite place to hang out. In a perfect location, easy to find, and very close to the downtown of Waitsfield. 30 minutes from Stowe, and an hour to Burlington. We loved every minute of our stay here.

Miranda
This is a beautiful, sprawling home
This is a beautiful, sprawling home right along the main drive 10 minutes outside of Waitsfield town center. We were a group of 11 women on a retreat, and loved the individual rooms, huge dining table, cozy gathering spaces, and yoga/exercise space. We also enjoyed conversation around the outdoor fire pit each night. Highly recommend for a group!

Amazing stay!
Amazing stay!

Thanks
We had a good time. Our suggestion is that you update the guest information book. Some of the information, such as the location of the trash dumpster was not accurate. Also provide background on the history of the farm.
