Long Beach haven!
We go to the coast every year and Ocean Trail is our favorite rental yet! You can really tell that Toby puts so much thought and care into this rental. We have 2 teen boys and my sister has 3 boys, ages 8 and under and this was perfect for all! Lots of space to spread out. The landscaping is beautiful. The HUGE grassy yard was a bonus for sure; we had a few sunny days and just relaxed in the grass with our pup, played yard games, and even flew our kites there. Quick walk to the beach, quick drive to town, even took a lovely scenic drive to Astoria. But really preferred to just hang at the house. My husband loved the steam shower in our room and game garage to store his e-bike and OneWheel, I loved the real plants throughout the home and the warm outdoor showers for after beach time. I also appreciated the thorough house handbook and simple checkout instructions/expectations. All you need to pack is food and clothes. This truly feels like your besties loaned you their beach house for a few days. Amazing, hope to book again!

Oceanfront Paradise
Once again my family and I had a wonderful, relaxing time in your beautifully decorated, and landscaped home. The beach access is wonderful. We did miss the driftwood arbor that leads to the path.Not sure if the wind was responsible for it not being there.One of my favorite things to do is listen to the sound of the ocean from the upstairs master suite. It was quite soothing and I slept very well. One request my daughter made was more paper supplies (paper towels, toilet paper)or maybe we just weren’t looking in the correct cupboards. Amazing place
I absolutely loved the location and the house. Just perfect for a friends vacation. This home is one of the most comfortable and tastefully furnished homes we’ve stayed. It’s welcoming and warm with live plants and art in every room. The bedrooms are exceptionally furnished with amazing beds and nice linens. Taking a steam in the lower master is a joy. Or perhaps you prefer a soak in the hot tub or a bath in the upstairs jetted tub. There is something for everyone from playing pool or the video arcade or a family game in the game room. My grandsons’ particularly liked waking up in their bunks and sneaking video game time. We spent more time playing games on the expansive yard that’s lined with pots of flowers than going to the beach. However, If you like to sit and watch the surf roll in you must sit in an upstairs bedroom to see the ocean out past a grassy dune. The entire home is stocked with everything you need for entertainment and cooking meals. There’s an obvious pride of ownership. Toby is friendly, communicative and responds promptly. We will be back. ❤️

Family Easter
This was our second year of staying in Ocean Trail, a beautiful home on Long Beach Peninsula. Our group consisted of four adults and three children under four years old. It rained throughout our stay (with occasional sun breaks), but we always had plenty to keep us occupied. With a game room and TVs in every room, as well as Easter prep, we stayed busy. The kitchen is fantastic with several types of coffee machines, as well as many other machines for any purpose you might imagine (juicer, tea, mixer, toaster, waffle maker, etc.). At night we adjourned to our upstairs primary suite with a glass of wine to sit in the Scandinavian lounge chairs and watch the sunset. Very relaxing. There were more than enough bedrooms for our group. There are many beautiful houseplants throughout. We look forward to a vacation here next year.

This house was awesome. Not only was it beautiful and spacious with multiple bedrooms for a large group, but this house was THE MOST ORGANIZED AirBnB we've ever stayed in. Everything was labeled, in clear and logical locations, and Toby made everything easy to find and easy to use. He has multiple styles of fun beer and wine glasses, lots of different plates, bowls, pots and pans, and kitchen utensils. The TV's and remotes and sound bars were easy to figure out, he has drawers upon drawers of DVD movies organized by genre (!!), and a beautiful game room filled with board games and puzzles and a cool hexagonal table. The pool table in the "garage" was fun for the older kids (and for us), and the showers in the bedrooms were luxurious and beautiful. The beds and sheets were also exceptional, we slept really well every night -- he spared no expense to make this home a VERY comfortable get-away. Also - he communicated the day before to make sure we were good, then left us alone. A+

We have stayed at many rental houses over many years and this was by far the top one. It was extremely clean and well equipped with everything you can imagine, even dog toys, and a dog game. All of the appliances are top end and everything is labeled so you know exactly where things go. There are televisions everywhere in the house, the beds were very comfortable, the game room was a great hit with our teenage grandsons as well as us older folks. It’s also in a wonderful location with easy access to the beach. I give it the highest rating, and do not hesitate in recommending it to others. Thank you, Toby, for such a pleasant stay .

Beautiful space for Family Gathering
This was the home we choose for our Christmas family gathering (10 of us). My goodness, what a well designed space for everyone! The kitchen has everything...I mean everything and so organized. I only wish my own kitchen was half as organized. The bedrooms have the most comfy beds, the 2 large master suites were wonderful. The only down side was the weather. The rain, wind, cold and one night the power went out ! There was a major winter storm that was blowing through, but we all felt safe and well protected in this beautiful home. Some day we hope to actually spend time on the beach...no one can predict the weather, but this home and the great communication from Toby was nothing but top notch!

All the amenities and supplies you need for an awesome stay. Perfect Location

Wonderful Family Easter Trip
Our extended family visits this beach each Easter, and this house was perfect for me, my three sons under the age of three, my parents, my adult brother and his partner. I didn’t have the right baby gate for the doorway between the kitchen and entry hall (one side would be a 50” gate and the other would be a more standard 29”, but both are easily available, I just left my extensions at home in the shuffle.) The kitchen dining area had space for three high chairs and five adults and the main dining area had space for four high chairs, my two adult cousins, my aunt and uncle, plus our five adults. We walked to the beach daily, the views from the house were awesome, there were Apple TV’s right where we needed them, the laundry room was handy, and there was plenty of outdoor paved space for kids to ride trikes. The kitchen was well appointed and we didn’t lack for a tool or plate. There were two master bedrooms for the couples and the bedroom I stayed in had a nice view and was very comfortable. There were rooms that fit two pack and plays for the little babies and the lower bunk of the bunk room was perfect for my 2 year old (I put the steps on the top bunk.) We have reserved it again for next Easter and I’m hoping to talk the friendly owner into putting a blind on the window in the two queen bed room so I can have my three boys in there next year without them waking up with the sun. He was very responsive to all our questions and I had a pleasant experience with him. I left a load of laundry in the dryer and he was able to mail them back to me in a short period of time, which was much appreciated. My brother and his partner used the game room daily for remote work and all of us adults would get together in there and at the kitchen dining table to play games after the kids were asleep. My 2yo got his first experience with clamming by walking the short trail to the beach behind the house. He loved it! I highly recommend this house for a trip with a group of adults or a family.

We absolutely loved our stay. During our stay there was a lot of cold, windy and typical early Spring weather. This did not impact our stay at all because there were so many things to stay entertained with. The garage is filled with games that can be enjoyed for all ages. The house has sooo many board games, movies, game stations, etc. that we were never bored. The hot tub was clean and was a nice getaway from the cold weather. The access to the beach was quick and easy for us to enjoy. The views from the upstairs bedrooms were perfect!! The beds were super comfortable and the house was very clean. The kitchen came stocked with every tool you could ever want to use and even some surprise spices and baking items. We cannot wait to book our next stay!!

We had a great experience at this house. It is a clean, extremely well-stocked house with lots of entertainment. Great views from the Master bedroom upstairs as well as the kitchen and living rooms downstairs. Multi-level decks, outdoor fireplace, hot tub makes it a great experience. Thanksgiving getaway
This is a great home to spend a family gathering, very spacious, well equipped kitchen, lots of lounging space, large dining room table, and kitchen table which we set up a large puzzle on, wonderful game room. We did not use the garage space with pool table. If you are staying in the colder months there is only outside access to it and it is not a heated area. I would like to rent this property in the summer when we could spend time outside. Hot tub was nice. I had some questions and Toby got back to me right away. We are 5 couples with small children and it is so nice to have so many bedrooms with queen or king sized beds. Thank you Toby!

Our families second trip to this home and we love it. Easy access to the beach and tons of room for our family, or dog and grandma and grandpa. Something for everyone to do. The game room is great, the video game system was a hit, and if you haven’t tried a steam shower you’re really missing out. Our family was here during an open clam season and everyone managed to limit in less than an hour. Fantastic property! The owner Toby is an excellent host and is very responsive to any questions as well! We have visited many vacation rentals and my wife and I agree this one has the best set up we have been too. What to expect: A perfect beach house destination for a large group. The property is secured in a gated community. The check-in experience is easy and an itinerary is prepared for you in advance. There are no unfortunate surprises here. The home is appointed for a complete beach experience as well as some pleasant luxuries. The game room full of puzzles and board games was a blast. Supplies are available for bonfire and a picnic on the beach. I do suggest bringing firewood. The kitchen is very well appointed. Everything from a margarita mixer to a perfect pancake griddle is at hand. The fridge has an ice maker and filtered water. The dishwasher had plenty of soap. The bedrooms all have their unique touches and the beds are extremely comfortable. The view from the second story master as world class 8 to 10 guests will fill this house but wont feel cramped. This beach house makes a great destination even in foul weather.

Great family beach house!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ocean Trails. The house was spotless and welcoming. We had all that we needed in the kitchen (and then some). The beds were comfortable and the baths luxurious. The young kids and the big kids in our group all enjoyed the video game options. The beach was just a 3-5 minute walk over a private trail. I loved the walk itself - the scents of ocean, grass and flowers were wonderful. We saw wildlife. There was a bald eagle that perched on a nearby pole, deer, a hawk and couple of coyotes. Everyone agreed that this was the best family beach vacation ever.

Wonderful Family Vacation
We had a wonderful family vacation. It was a beautiful house that was well stocked, big, comfortable, and relaxing. The beds were very comfy but some of the bedding smelt like they didn’t get dried all the way. The house was a great location and close walk to the beach. The hot tub was nice. The house is having some repairs done which would have been nice to know along with a list of previous damages/repairs being done so we didn’t have to bother the owner. Also when we got to the house for check in the cleaners were still there cleaning and doing laundry. They were there for another two hours, which was out of the owners control but kind of irritating. The owner was very responsive, which was nice. We would definitely stay again especially with the spacious rooms and numerous rooms and amazing views. Response: Unfortunately sometime life gets in the way and the experience is not as perfect as I would like it to be. I appreciate the very honest review and the fact that Stacy was able to overlook some of the initial hiccups and appreciate all that this home has to offer. (I have told my housekeepers that I’d much rather that they stay late than leave on time with the job half done, unfortunately sometimes the house is left in such a manner that this is required)

WOW! This house has everything you need, just bring your clothes. And I mean E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G! All the glasses you need in all their varieties, new washing machine and dryer, beach towels (!), a game room with an amazing collection of board and social games, xbox/PS and DVD/BR in every room, with a very impressive collection of games and movies, and an arcade machine in the living room (it was out of service during our stay so can't comment on the experience but it looks great), great hot tub right outside, a garage playroom with pool table and foosball, and packed with fun outdoor games (the kids loved playing them outside, and there was even a kite that we all had fun flying around at the beach). ice cream machine, mixer, popcorn maker, and a lot of other kitchen appliances for all your needs (and much beyond). A couple of minutes walk to the beautiful beach. BTW, don't miss the steam shower in the downstairs master bedroom, it is a dream! (I'm getting myself one of those :) I highly recommend this property if you plan a trip in the area.

Perfect Luxurious Getaway
We rented this home for Memorial weekend and it truly exceeded our expectations. The features this house provides are far from standard, we especially enjoyed all the lawn games, video games, hot tub, steam shower and vast supply of board games. Our stay was good and could have been great had it not been for the poor communication prior to the trip. Three and a half weeks before our trip host Toby called to ask me if I would arrive one day later (come 3 days for minimum 4 day reservation) so he could use his house for Christmas. I declined knowing guests already took time off from work. The following week I asked to arrive one day later or cancel because one family of 6 in our group couldn't come due to Covid. Toby refused to refund one day or allow cancellation even though Airbnb made Covid exceptions. It's also not child friendly when a 2 year old pays as an adult. Dampened spirits lead to missed arrival details but we made the most of our trip.

This is a beautiful spot, in a private neighborhood, with a killer view of the coast. But it has seen better days. Don't get me wrong, we definitely enjoyed our stay. The owner was responsive to communication, and the location was ideal being so close to town, while feeling secluded at the same time. But to be honest, we were surprised to find the place looking as worn around the edges as it was. When you pay these kinds of rates, you expect things to be kept up well. The exterior needs a lot of clean up from the inevitable grime, rust and lost siding. All in all, it was a great get-away. But the house would really benefit from having a week off from guests to get some much-needed TLC. Response: The house is slated for new siding this spring, and the inside is pristine. So much to do! Very well organized with activities for all ages. Private beach access is amazing. But my favorite feature is the spa-like steam shower in the downstairs master. Set the temp of the steam to 100+, and turn the shower heads to cool or cold. It’s like standing under a rainforest waterfall. The hot tub under the stars isn’t too bad either :). Great place for a group
This location is amazing. The hot was a Big hit with our group. The house is well stocked and very clean. The owner leaves almost nothing left needed to bring from home. I would, however, like you to know when considering this property that’s it’s not exactly family friendly if you have young children. There’s no crib or pak n play for infants so you’ll need your own. There are no safety gates for the stairs or life vests for the hot tub. There are many fun but breakable art work, instruments, dvds, and remotes that should be put up to avoid damage. And although the game room inside and in the garage is filled with things for older, more responsible children to enjoy, it’s exhausting to keep up with rules and regulations the owner requests to keep things in order. You should know and be aware and willing to stay in this home knowing that every single thing in the home, and I mean EVERY single thing is labeled including light switches, towels, cups, remotes, the hundreds of games, etc.....and the owner is very particular about things being not lost, broken, or even slightly worn. He does this to keep the house in tip top condition which I fully appreciate but it’s not feasible with smaller children. I would recommend this listing to anyone who feels that these requirements are easy to abide by for your family or group. I do recommend this property for families with older children or groups without if you want a truly relaxing vacation. Response: Loading a house with almost everything a guest might need presents some interesting challenges. Everyone likes having nice things available for use, so I do my best to provide them, and also keep them in good condition. No one likes to book a home only to find stained sheets, broken appliances, and worn out furniture. I provide a home that is clean, organized, and loaded with almost anything you will need. Leaving this home in the same condition you found it may be a challenge for some groups, but most of my guests do an amazing job. I appreciate the challenge of supervising small children in someone else's home, and thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review.

IMPRESSIVE Our visit to Toby's Rental was a 1st for me, in 45+ years of renting Vacation homes, I was amazed as none of the Family Members, not even the Grandkids had a complaint about things not available or things to do. Toby had foresaw anything we might need and had it there, labeled and in a book on the table. I will say that was great having everything I needed for cooking, even though I brought my own Spices, even they were available. Sure there were some minor issues, but Toby had them taken care of quickly. Even extra batteries for the game controllers were available in a Safe for our use. I will say this is also the 1st home that everyone agrees we should rent again... as a matter of fact, I am currently checking for a date that works for us for next year. The only down side to our visit was that Long Beach wasn't all open and what was required Mask due to COVID-19, but I am sure if there was a cure for it, Toby would probably have provided it as well. I highly recommend Toby's home and commend him and his Maintenance/Cleaning staff for the excellent job they do as even the trail to the beach was manicured.

The Whole Clan
This house was perfect for our Family Beach Reunion 2020 during the crazy Covid-19 pandemic. The different areas to congregate for eating, board games, video games, hot tubbing, indoor and outdoor conversating and the garage game room were wonderful. The steam shower and whirlpool tub were great features and the giant washing machine and dryer were helpful. It was so nice to walk to the beautiful, ocean and play awhile, then return to wash off in the outdoor showers and hop in the hot tub or sit by the fire to warm up & enjoy s'mores. The kitchen was adequate for our large group to work around and it was very well stocked. Everything is labeled which is helpful for getting everything back to its correct spot. The downside to the property was a broken arcade machine that our tweens & teens were looking forward to experiencing & no griddle to cook hotcakes on for the crowd (so the double waffle iron got plenty of use). The owner, Toby was quick to respond to our few on site inquiries however, it would have been nice to have had ready access to extra TP & garbage bags. The Ocean Trails rental has plenty of parking, comfortable beds, beach chairs and toys for the kids. We also saw quite a few majestic bald eagles and went to the close-by tourist shops in town. All in all a near-perfect vacation!

We LOVED our stay - Toby was a responsive host and the house was even better than it looked in the pictures and sounded in the description. Everything is clearly labeled, which made it easy to find things and put things away. The beach was beyond beautiful - gorgeous, fine sand, phenomenal vistas - and our kids loved playing there. We had epic showdowns on the arcade machine, the kids played Xbox, the adults played pool, we all put together a puzzle and played board games. My only regret is that we only stayed 3 nights. None of us wanted to leave! Also, there are so many amazing nifty appliances in the kitchen that we never got a chance to use - next time we are making ice cream and homemade waffle cones. Great beach retreat!!
This house is magnificent. It has so many excellent features. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Each bedroom is very well equipped and comfortable. The meeting spaces were very adequate for our group and there is a group dining area too that worked out very well. In addition, the house is on the beach and with a short walk, you can be at the ocean. It is secluded and private. This was our 10th year of our group of friends taking trips to the WA/Oregon coast area together and with our growing families it isn't always easy to find homes with 6 bedrooms. We brought family together from 3 different states to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday and the experience was AMAZING! Every couple (6 in total) had their own room with large flat screen TV, incredible selection of movies and games (both video and board/card games), anything you could possibly want in the kitchen (seriously-a vegetable spiralizer, double waffle iron, margarita machine, and way more!), and incredible view with access to the beach. We didn't need to go anywhere because everything we needed/wanted was right there! Toby was also extremely responsive and worked with me for some special requests. I would definitely recommend this home to any and every one.

Clean, well-cared-for, beautiful
My family and I have been renting properties like this since 2000. We are used to bringing our own sharp knives, cookie sheets, pots, etc. This is the first time we were able to leave our drink dispensers and crockpots in the car and cut tomatoes with the knives in the kitchen. There was even a full set of bar ware in a cabinet. We were very impressed. Our kids were impressed with the sheer number of arcade/computer games available. Also, this place was well-stocked with linens, towels, cozy blankets, etc. I did have one question at the last minute from a request of my niece and the owner got back to me very quickly. I will definitely keep this in mind next time my family wants to go to the Washington coast.

I've stayed at dozens of VRBOs. By far, this is the cleanest, most organized, best outfitted VRBO on the planet. Toby apparently takes pride in providing a place where you'll never have to say, "I wish it had that". Room? There's a ton of room and the bedrooms are huge. Two great master suite, one on each floor have huge showers and are nicely appointed. If you like walking on the beach, you can spend hours doing it here. Just a short walk out the back door and your on the beach with eagles and all sorts of other wildlife. This is our second year in a row staying here and I am sure we'll be back again next year.

Amazing house!
The house was absolutely perfect for our girls' getaway. It had everything we needed and much more, and every detail is covered. If we needed jackets, extra blankets, raincoats, flashlights, beach towels, whatever, it's all there. We only wish we had a complete list of all the kitchen machines and gadgets beforehand - we could have planned a month of meals inspired by the kitchen tools alone. ;-) The location by the beach is perfect. Just a short walk and you're there; you can watch the waves crash from the amazing balcony or listen to the ocean from the hot tub. Kite Festival Vacation
A group of us decided to rent this big beautiful house for the kite festival. With 6 bedrooms we had plenty of room. We are also big foodies, and the kitchen was very well outfitted. For our 50th wedding anniversary, we rented this house for 3 nights with our son and daughter and their families, 10 total. Spacious, clean, SO well organized and quiet. My Dream Home
This home is spectacular. No luxury or convenience left out and what could be better than having it all beachfront. This was a return visit, this time with gal friends. Each of us had beautiful rooms. The jacuzzi tub in one upstairs master overlooking the beach is amazing and was claimed first...lol. Then there’s the large steam shower in the downstairs master with a bench to relax on. I loved it! All bedrooms are large and well equipped. Beds are so comfy, adjustable, and with luxury bedding. We sat around the kitchen island reminiscing, enjoy appetizers and wine, while listening to the ocean. The cool arcade game was great for a little competition (wished we would have had time to enjoy the fantastic game room or ping pong or pool table). In the morning we walked the short private path to the ocean. This home is so well laid out, it could accommodate numerous families. On the drive home, we all kept talking about how soon we want to go back. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!

This house is amazing. We were 10 friends from Seattle visiting the coast for a 30th birthday weekend celebration. We didn't leave the house between arriving and leaving because of the amenities, GAME ROOM, hot tub, proximity to the beach, etc. Toby has literally thought of everything- the entire house is labeled, which makes it incredibly easy to keep track of everything, cook, organize, and clean. The beds are all tempur pedic; they incline/recline and vibrate. We had intended on going into town to explore a bit and hit up Fun Land, but there really was no need. Maybe during a longer stay. Nice place with all you'll need
it's nice place and the location is great as well. There are utensils and kitchen gadgetry the likes of which you've never seen. Seriously, a few of the things we had to look up. Have you ever heard of a Rollie Hands-Free Automatic Electric Vertical Nonstick Easy Quick Egg Cooker? Yeah, me either. And I didn't know their was a s'mores maker either. Very informative. Beds were great, probably the best VBRO beds I've ever seen. You're not going to have a bad night's sleep. We could have used an extra bedroom but it was fine. It appears that the owner is adding a downstairs master suite. The movie collection is pretty good, especially if your a Generation X like me. There are huge TVs almost every room which is great if you're using it as family and a "meh" if you're with friends. We used the one TV in the family room area. The organization is impeccable, one wonders if the owner had Dustin Hoffman visit and provide a weeklong rendition of Rainman? Where does one find the time? It is remarkable the organization. Of course, I gave it a 4-star and you're probably wondering why. Well, we wanted to use the hot tub, but there were so many rules and things we had to do and charges and fees if you did this and that. It was really off-putting. Why have a hot tub at all? There's rules about sand. Don't get sand in the hot tub or you'll have to pay money...So, the one time I opened the cover thinking about using it, what do you think was all over the bottom of the hot tub? Sand. So, if figured I could use it and say it was in there already (which it was) or not use it and eliminate any doubt. I elected not to use the hot tub. Which was a bummer because we passed up a number of houses b/c they did not have one. My suggestion to the owner would be to either lighten up or remove the hot tub altogether. If you've got the kind of scratch to rent this place, chances are you're not the type who trashes it. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place and it's a 5-star for anyone not concerned about using the hot tub.

This was the largest home we have rented and among the best and at a great location. The LLC Board is all family members. Our numbers have grown over the years to 13 now, with one more on the way; so, we really appreciated the extra space and the game room. The addition of another bedroom on the ground floor (a work in progress, it appears) is a great idea.

Perfect for a family getaway balanced with outdoor fun and indoor activities
The owner has thought of nearly everything! My wife, daughter, cousins along with their dogs enjoyed a great weekend at this house. From organization and flow of the house itself, secure location with a gated entry and easy/direct access to the beach, we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Entertainment - i mean there was more to do then we had time. From a room with a wall full of board games, family games, children's activities and a complete poker set-up we were perfectly set-up for the evenings. Each bedroom came fully stocked with a pretty solid DVD collection and large screen TV's - the children's rooms had the video gaming systems all set-up to go. Then outside you had the hot tub, pool table, and more. Kitchen - organized, organized, organized! Whether you needed a juicer or an avocado slicer, the owner thought of almost every cooking scenario possible. Plus there were some great tips posted by each device for a recipe and how to use. Also, the labeling helped to put everything back in place. Bedrooms - my wife and I enjoyed the master bedroom. Great views, comfortable beds, awesome shower, and overall space. There is currently a very non-intrusive construction project underway for a second Master suite downstairs, which would be ideal for our parents or anyone else looking for the master suite experience. Recommendation - only one recommendation, one of the factors that made us want to pick this location versus another was because of the dedicated yard space with grass. However, upon walking on it barefoot, the amount of weeds throughout the yard didn't offer a great experience for our feet and especially for our 2 year old. Just a little more TLC is needed - especially if you are making your way from the hot tub to the hammock to enjoy the night sky or just sun bathe. We definitely plan on going back!

The master bath is great, with a large shower and a nice jetted tub that looks out on the beach, along with a nice upper deck facing the beach from the master bedroom. 2nd large room upstairs has 2 beds and a beautiful view of the ocean from a pair of nice recliners. The kids room has two bunk beds that can probably sleep a dozen kids. One bunk has a screen with an N64 or a game cube and a ton of games. The other bunk also had a screen and had maybe a PS2 or a PS3 and a bunch more games. TONS of board games. Poker table. Stand up arcade unit with 1000+ old school games. This house is FULLY equipped including a couple of margarita machines and most kitchen gadgets you might need. The only thing missing is a fire pit and some benches!

We would highly recommend this amazing beach house to large groups or multiple families. It's incredible! It's super organized with a well stocked and labeled kitchen, ocean views, awesome board-game room and multiple video game systems too. The home is decorated well with a classy beach theme. The beds are comfy and adjustable. Their movie collection is huge and there are giant TV's in almost every room! The short walk to the beach allows for a non crowded, private beach feel. This is truly everything Toby claims on his listing and even better than the pictures portray. 😄� The location of the home is close to the cute town of Long Beach. It was nice to have a gated small community with a quick walk to a private, uncrowded beach. Our kids enjoyed the game room in the garage, as well as spending hours playing the huge selection of board games provided at the rental. Toby has truly thought of everything and was wonderful to work with. He promptly answered a few questions we had while we were staying in his home and was kind and personable. We enjoyed the hot tub in the backyard as well as the hammocks and patio chairs. We wished the coastal weather would have cooperated with us, but the house withstood the rain and winds and even a few hours of a power outage! However, we were all warm and cozy inside by the fireplace with plenty to enjoy in this incredible home. 👍�🏻�😄�

Toby's place is probably what it means to really be a "5-star" place on AirBNB. Large and spacious enough to accommodate everyone, and well stocked like an actual home would be and not just a model home. There's a ton of stuff to do and your backyard is the pacific ocean. Everything is clean and well laid out, including labels everywhere to help you out with what is what. All the beds are top notch and super comfy as well, with almost every bedroom coming with a ginormous tv. All in all, one can only help every AirBNB comes like this.

This is a fantastic property! Every room had everything you could possibly want including temprapedic adjustable beds with massagers... every drawer and appliance was labeled which made it VERY easy to return things to their proper places! Spoiled by a Perfect Home at the Coast
As regular Long Beach visitors, me and my girlfriend were thrilled to stay at this beautiful home. The owner was easy to get a hold of and had excellent communication. My favorite part of visiting any rental is walking through the property and taking a peek at someone else's creation. Walking through this house was like walking through disneyland for the first time as a kid. Everywhere we looked was a new toy or unique feature to explore. The kitchen was filled to the brim with every cooking gadget you could need. The range of electronics, from impressive televisions to retro video games systems certainly caught my eye. Even though we made the non-conventional choice to visit the beach in the winter, the hot tub on the back porch overlooking the ocean was far cozier than any amount of sunshine. We were spoiled by this beautiful house and we can't wait to return.

Wonderful Family Vacation House
We stayed at this home over New Year's - we were taking a risk since we weren't at all familiar with the area. The house was just as we had hoped and then some. The kids were happy to have all the games and my husband and I adored the view from the Master Bedroom. I loved taking walks on the beach and waking up to the sea view each morning. Outstanding for family or group- excellent location/beachfront- everything you could need!
Fantastic family Christmas celebration. Our family of 8: Grandparents, grown children, teen and two younger kids (8 year olds) all had a wonderful time. Plenty of room for everyone. The little kids loved the bunk beds- with cubby holes for their things, and memory foam mattresses. Adults' bedrooms : A master bedroom with large, jet tub, walk in shower and each bedroom has an adjustable bed (also memory foam ) with built in massage feature. Note that all bedrooms are upstairs. Tv in each room with cable, hundreds of blue-ray/ DVD movie options (every genre!) and a game room with 100s of board games and an arcade game with 1,000+ game options. Large kitchen with everything you could need - we had a crab feast one night and made a prime rib the next. I even noticed a margarita maker, s'mores machine and frozen yogurt maker!!! This house was awesome and would be fun in any season. The house is on the beach- gorgeous view and easy access, short walk to the sand, and a quick 5 minute drive to down town Long Beach or the grocery store. Toby was quick to confirm our reservation, and to answer questions. He was helpful and check in / out was smooth! I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this rental !

Fantastic getaway, amazing house!
We stayed at the house for two nights the last week of October. The house itself is huge, beautiful, and well-equipped for our family. The private path to the beach was awesome, and in fact, we enjoyed that better than being beach-front. It's a very short walk, and the grass to get there is picturesque. The house itself is very clean, kitchen is well-stocked, and there are tons of DVD's to watch and board games to play. We also enjoyed playing Xbox on the giant TV. Overall it was a fun house to enjoy for the weekend, very comfortable, and would absolutely recommend this house to large families and for multi-family getaways. We will plan on visiting again!

Great Vacation Spot
We had a group of 8 people, and this house was wonderful. 1. It is really big, there is a lot of room to spread out. 2. It is really organized. We often rent vacation houses, and we typically bring a bunch of stuff (if it is within driving distance), such as a food processor (we really like to cook). This house had everything we needed, and more!! 3. There is a game room that is full of games. A bunch of us played Settlers of Catan, and it was the first time we had ever played on a perfect gaming table. 4. The pictures do not do it justice. The view is amazing. It was a field of grass that separated you from a beach with barely anyone on it. 5. Everything was clean and in good shape. We will definitely rent here again!

A true gift, A much needed trip! An amazing owner!
I don't even know where to begin to put into words how meaningful this trip was for my 15 year old daughter and I. We decided at the last moment to head to Longbeach for the 4th of July, and there was absolutely nothing available. Not even camping space. I happened across this HUGE and beautiful home, and I thought, I deserve this! Along with my daughter. So she rounded up a couple of her pals and off we went! There is NO way to describe the beauty and seclusion of this home. It literally took my breath away when we entered the front door. But before that, when you think "gated community", you imagine an actual neighborhood! There were only a few homes there, and Toby, the owner of the home we were staying in, owned one of the others! Let me start with the amenities in the home. There is absolutely NOTHING you could ever need here. There was every kind of cooking item, utensils, even spices, along with a cupboard of every kind of drinking glass you could imagine. The rooms were large and beautiful. It was literally a short walk directly to the ocean. The view was breathtaking. Not to mention, EVERY single cup, dish, pot, pan, etc.Was perfectly labeled. The fridge and dishwasher were new and the home was SPOTLESS. As if there could be more, there is a game room with beautiful French doors with shelves of every game you could imagine, from floor to ceiling! He even had a small perfectly organized craft area! Outside there is a large beautiful hammock that can fit 2. That was my favorite spot. Almost spiritual, one day as I watched the sunset. I don't have one negative thing to say about this home. I would have stayed forever, we did actually end up having a medical situation, and Toby was kind and accommodating. The last day we were there, they were installing a HUGE hot tub facing the beach, right on the lower patio! I'm hoping to go back next year. This trip was actually life altering in a lot of different ways, but what stood out the most, was the care that the owner puts into his homes. And his patrons. He was always promptly answered any questions we had. This home is one of those places you just have to "see" to "believe"! There is also a ping pong table in the garage, and the beds are soft and new. A TV in the master suite & a huge one in the family room, not to mention, BEACH TOWELS & extra blankets to wrap up in. I could go on forever, but I will end with this, the owner made everything easy and stress free. I'd recommend it to anyone. : )

Staying at Toby's beach grass villa was more than our family could have asked for. We are a large family, and this tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished space made us all feel at home... only better! For us the center piece of our stay was the moviesque beach grass view as sceen from the sunset oriented hot tub or any of the large windows. Bisecting this view was our own sandy beach path, a short walk to beachcombing. Moving inside: a jacuzzi surrounded by glass, a wall of games and art supplies, drawers full of alphabetized DVDs, a large TV, and cozy sofas, chairs, blankets, and pillows facilitated deep relaxation and joy. This was my first Airbnb experience, and Toby's welcoming and accommodating attitude made our stay at this beatiful and organized beach house memorable and my experience with Airbnb great. We look forward to our next trip to Long Beach, WA.

Very nice, big, well organized home.
Easily accommodated our family reunion. Good separation of space allowed for everyone to stretch out and do the activities of choice. Two dining room tables allowed for one to be a puzzle table. Separate game room allowed for on going poker tournament. Large kitchen with almost everything you can imagine ever needing in a kitchen, but no pie plate, so I had to make tarts, muffins, cakes, instead. Everything was clean and pretty new. The beds were the most comfy vrbo beds I've ever slept in. Could have used another shower; There's only two, with one of them in the master bedroom, so most of the family ended up sharing the one main shower. With no designated foot bath, keeping sand out of the hot tub was difficult. Owner was well organized, communicative, and kind. Response: Outdoor foot bath is in the works. Amazing Beach Home!
We cannot say enough about how much we truly enjoyed our stay at "Ocean Trail". The owner has thought of EVERYTHING!! We really enjoyed our stay! On our arrival the house very clean and everything looked quite new. There were 12 of us for a 60th birthday party weekend. The home handled our group well and we really never felt crowded. The house is extremely well equipped, especially the kitchen. There are small appliances and gadgets we didn't know existed. Everyone enjoyed the nice beds and were impressed with the quality of bedding, linens etc. All and all a great house in a nice quiet location. We'd definitely recommend a stay here!

Perfect Beach Getaway!
This place is just MAGIC! It's incredibly spacious but still feels so cozy for a cool Long Beach weekend. I loved the private access to the beach, it made the weekend getaway feel just that, a peaceful and secluded getaway. The house is absolutely beautiful and stocked with any amenity you would need. This house was fantastic. It's a great place for a get away and the location is as good as it gets. From the start Toby was a great host and made the whole process very easy for us to get situated. He was readily available if we had any questions or concerns. When we arrived the house was spic-n-span. I love organization and the kitchen blew my mind when it came to that. Everything was label marked and it had every type of utensil, appliance, dish, etc that you could possibly need. This kind of organization is seen throughout the house making cleaning up exceptionally easy. Even the game room that has at least 100 different games/puzzles is labeled. The house had a private walkway to the beach. The beachfront outside of the house was perfect, there weren't crowds, cars, sticks, etc The weather was perfect for a BBQ and laying in the hammock. Lying out on the decks viewing the sunset were great as well. Overall this house was amazing and would recommend it to anyone that wants to have a great experience.

Beachfront Dream Home
This home is the most comfortable elegant home I've ever stayed in. The private path to the beach is such a nice walk. The gourmet kitchen has everything you would want/need. The master suite Is huge with the most comfortable adjustable King bed, a sitting area overlooking the ocean, with an outside private deck. The master bath has a jacuzzi tub overlooking the ocean to watch the sunset and a huge double shower. Plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms for everyone. This home has multiple areas for reading, watching tv, dining and seats so many comfortably. The game room is just jaw dropping. The bonus of this house is the organization. This was the most amazing vacation I have ever had! This house was absolutely equipped with everything you could ever need, and more. The master bedroom was a dream, with the most comfortable bed you will ever sleep in and an ocean view to top it all off! The attention to detail in this home really floored me. What a wonderful opportunity to visit Long Beach in style. Waking up on a beautifully clear morning and sitting on the private master suite deck sipping our morning coffee watching the waves was breathtaking. As with all of Toby's rentals, this one is well stocked with plenty of kitchen gadgets to make a quick meal or a gourmet feast. The private beach access made for an easy walk to the beach with our firewood and supplies for a pleasant evening hanging out visiting around the fire. There is plenty of room in this home for a large group, but was cozy enough for just a few people.
