The Super Condo - Kimberley's Largest Ski-in/out Condo at Resort Base
The Super Condo is an innovative vacation rental unit owned by Simply Kimberley. Two of the largest condos at Kimberley Alpine Resort (1500 sqft each) were joined by a communicating door installed between the living rooms. These condos are mirror images of one another and share a common wall. In 2016, Simply Kimberley was provided approval by the strata board to create the Super Condo by joining two side by side units with a sound-proof, communicating door (two doors on a single door jamb). This innovation created an incredible opportunity for groups to benefit from the new space, the ski-in/out location and the four decks, two hot tubs, two gas BBQ's, six bedrooms, six bathrooms, etc.
Tod, the owner, is a tourism professional living in Kimberley and I'm often available to meet or by phone. However, the Super Condo is set up for contactless check-in with keyless entry (door codes are shared prior to arrival).
The Kimberley Alpine Resort Plaza (resort base) is 200m away and is where the ski hill action is. The main quad chair loads from this area and the Stemwinder Pub restaurant often has live music. The Buckhorn and Main Mountain Eatery is the newest restaurant at the resort base and it also has a separate sports bar. In short, the resort base is definitely the place to be for winter and summer fun.
Access to the Super Condo is through self-check-in and keyless entry. Our Simply Kimberley property management system sends out the codes prior to your arrival.
The Super Condo has been routinely updated since we created it. New flooring throughout the main floor and all six bathrooms. Updated interior paint colours to pair with the furniture. And, we had two * river tables locally crafted to add an element of beauty to our space; each table seats eight people. Smart TVs adorn the area above the natural gas fireplaces.
Contact Simply Kimberley for any group transportation needs. During winter, there is a Mountain to Town shuttle that runs on a regular schedule operated by BC Transit.
It is important to note that the neighbouring units are full-time resident owners and many of the other units in this building (Bldg 4 of the four buildings in the Lodges of Kimberley Ridge development) are occupied by full-time, permanent residents. The Super Condo is well set up for groups but please note that excessive partying and late-night noise is not permitted as we need to respect our neighbours.
