Eagle Cap Real Estate is located in Wallowa County. Both of the McKee Brothers (Todd and Andy) are within minutes of the property, in case a need arises.

Neighborhood

The Lakes Basin Village is conveniently located directly between downtown Joseph and Wallowa Lake. The main bike path to the lake can be accessed directly in front of property. The lake is less than a mile away along the bike path. Two nice hikes are located just off the bike path on the way to the lake. Details for both hikes are included in our guidebook. Downtown Joseph is even closer to the property. Well maintained side walks are available all the way from the property to downtown for the short walk.

Access

Crescent Lake is located on the 1st floor of a fourplex less than a mile from Wallowa Lake. As a guest, you will have complete access to this house after check-in and we encourage you to settle in and make yourself at home during your stay. . There is ample parking available, along with additional parking for trailers and boats should you need it.

This is a pet-friendly home, but we do have policies to adhere to to ensure that we can continue to offer this amazing benefit to future guests. Please inform us at the time of booking if you will be bringing a pet. We reserve the right to ask you to leave the property should you fail to do this. There is a $25 nightly fee per dog (ESA animals included) that will be collected prior to check-in. This is refundable should your pet no longer be accompanying you after the fee is paid.

Please note that pets are not allowed on the furniture, nor are they allowed to be left unattended in the unit unsupervised.

The full bathroom is near the bedrooms and has a combination bath and shower. The bold color theme from the rest of the condo continues into this space. The bathroom is stocked with fresh towels, a hair dryer, and essential toiletries for your convenience.

The heart of this first-floor apartment is the open-plan kitchen, lounge, and dining area, which features a vibrant theme with bold color contrasts. Two large windows allow sunlight to flood the space during the day for a bright and cheerful feel.

The kitchen is fully equipped for you to cook delicious meals during your stay. The layout is in a convenient corner arrangement and features modern appliances, including a full-sized oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and a large sink. Stylish built-in cabinets offer plenty of space for you to neatly store your holiday eats.

A charming dining area with seating for four is located adjacent to the kitchen and is a great space to enjoy meals or a morning coffee with your friends and family.

A few steps away is the modern lounge that is complete with a large HDTV, comfortable leather sofa, upholstered chair, and coffee table. An ideal place to play board games or to kick back and enjoy your favorite shows during your stay.

This apartment is located in a quiet 4-plex within walking distance of the beautiful Wallowa Lake. A well-maintained bike path passes directly in front of the building, offering a convenient point to start exploring the area.

Transit

There is plenty of parking on site. There is parking between the first 4-plex and the main road and more spots in front of the 2nd 4-plex. Also you can park around the grass island if you are pulling a trailer or need extra parking spots.

Notes

Below is the contents of our rental agreement that we ask all parties to review and sign after finalizing a reservation

1.PETS: While we are proud to be a pet friendly business, many of our guests stay with us without pets and have great experiences. For individuals that have dog/cat allergies, we don't guarantee a dander free space.
A) No pets are allowed without paying, in advance, the $25/night pet fee for each pet (we charge pet fees for ESAs).
B) If you intend to bring any pets and didn’t list the number of pups accurately in your reservation, please inform us of the correct number of pups immediately so we can Note it in our records.
C) The pet fee isn’t included as part of the initial reservation price. We will send you a separate request to pay the pet fee about a week prior to your visit.
D) If you bring pets without informing us or without paying the pet fee, we reserve the right end your reservation early.
E) No pets left in the unit unattended F) No pets allowed on the furniture

2. CHECK IN / CHECK OUT: Check in is allowed any time after 3:00 pm and Checkout is required no later than 11:00 am. We are often able to offer early check in up to 2 hours for a fee of $15/hour and late check out up to 2 hours for $15/hour. if you would like to arrange for early check in and/or late check out, just let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

3. SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted on the premises

4. PARTIES: Parties are not allowed at this location without prior approval

5. QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours run from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am

6. BEDS: All of our beds are outfitted with medium firm memory foam mattresses. While the vast majority of our guests find them to be very comfortable, individuals that prefer an extra soft mattress may find them too hard.

7. NOISE MONITOR: This unit and all adjacent units include a noiseaware noise monitor attached to an outlet in the living room. These monitors do not transmit or record audio. they track decibel levels and inform us if noise levels are excessively high (especially during quite hours), which help us provide all guests with peaceful stays.

8. NOISE: There is another unit above this unit. When guests are staying there you will hear some noise in your unit.

9. VIDEO DOORBELL: Please be advised there is a motion activated video doorbell at the exterior entrance of the unit as an added safety measure.

10. BUGS: Please be advised we are located near lots of farms and ranches. Bugs are plentiful. We spray for bugs outside and inside the condo multiple times a year. We also have a bug zapper in the unit to attract any flying bugs that evade our defenses. It is still possible that you will see a creepy crawly during your visit. We do advise keeping the door closed as much as possible for an added defense.

11. AC: This unit has a portable AC Unit in the Living room. Please note that while it does an excellent job of cooling the unit, it is does create a fair amount of white noise while in operation.

Cancellation Policy

Please note that all cancelations are required to pay a 5% processing fee.
-To receive a full refund, guests must cancel at least 30 days before check-in
-If guests cancel between 7 and 30 days before check-in, they will be refunded 50% for all nights
-If guests cancel less than 7 days before check-in, they will not receive a refund
- Guests can also receive a full refund if they cancel within 48 hours of booking, provided the cancellation occurs at least 14 days before check-in

This was a cute rental that is a good value for the price. The location is perfect with the lake about .8 miles away and downtown was within walking distance. It is also right on the bike path that leads to a nice hiking trail. The kitchen was well stocked and included coffee, spices, snacks, etc. We didn't bring our dog, but there were dog treats, a dog bed, food/water dishes available. The beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of bath towels as well. Overall, I would recommend this condo.

We did find a lot of bugs and spiders the first few days there (maybe no one had stayed there in awhile?). In my opinion the unit is quite basic and overpriced for the size and style but this is a major tourist area with very few other rentals. I think it would be really great for people traveling with pets.

Worked wonderfully for us--easy to walk our two dogs, easy to entertain guests for dinner with plenty of room space and adequate seating for eight. Despite being very close to the main highway that goes through town, there was little to no roadway sound during the night. Minor complaint is that the gravel drive needs to be graded to remove a couple of fairly deep dips. Host provided solid information and was very welcoming and quickly helpful when we ran out of a household item.

Eagle Cap was the perfect launch pad for our family of four to explore the Walawas. We did it all- kayaking the lake, hiking the mountains, walking through the cute downtown area of Joseph- it was great. The lodging was in a perfect spot, in a quiet area with plenty of parking for our large truck and the rooms were great for us. Loved that there was complimentary popcorn- we had an impromptu movie night with the kids after a long hike and needed to chill for a night. Two moms and two teenage daughters enjoyed this condo for a quick overnight and everything was great. The condo is just as described and shown in the photos. Our stay at Eagle Cap Unit 23 was wonderful. Conveniently located at the end of town closest to the lake, less than 10 minutes to shopping and 10 minutes to the lake. It was the perfect stop for us for a weekend that included some business (requiring internet and other in-apartment amenities) and some pleasure.

What could’ve improved our experience was knowing a little more about just how audible footsteps and conversations were upstairs. We had difficulty falling asleep some nights because the upstairs apartment folks were walking around & having conversations at we perceived was probably normal volume. The property managers provide earplugs though, for those who can sleep with those in. Also, the bed was a little stiff for our needs but would be great for most (memory foam).

We would’ve loved some additional coat hooks & hangers for wet snowy gear.

Great amenities for the dog too. Wonderful to be able to take the pup!

Clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. A couple of minor quirks - bathroom door does not stay closed unless you pull up hard on the door handle after shutting and two of the kitchen cabinet doors open backwards. This is an ideal location for travelers looking for a central home away from home while exploring Joseph and surrounding areas. The unit is fully equipped for cooking and relaxing. Great for a quick getaway or a longer stay. Close to lake and town. We enjoyed our early morning stroll to lake. Very clean and has it all! Comfy beds, lots of towels, ample cookware and spices galore. Appreciated having pack n play, bumbo chair, and kids plates, so we didnt have to pack all of that. Great communication by hosts too!

Great location for accessing hikes, Joseph and the lake. The bike path goes right by and I'd recommend walking it to the Iwetemlaykin State Heritage Site just a couple of minutes walk away. Beautiful paths through a scenic area. The condo was clean and had very comfortable beds, but not really any outside area to relax in. Gravel parking in front and near the road - if that matters to you. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location easily walkable to lake or town
We chose this location due to it being centrally located to the lake and town. The property is actually right next to the bike/walk path from town to the lake, which made a safe easy walk to either with our dogs. The property is very dog friendly, with a nice lawn area for playing and potty breaks and the dogs were very happy to find a new tennis ball and some treats waiting for them as a gift from the hosts! The unit itself had everything we needed for our weekend getaway, and we had no issues. The hosts provided clear instructions and were very communicative, but we never had to bother them for anything because everything was perfect for us! A nice bonus was the proximity to the Iwetemlaykin heritage site, which offered plenty of hiking for the dogs when they needed to stretch their legs.

Had a great time staying at Eagle Cap's Air Bnb. The hosts were always available which was really appreciated. About a 10 min walk in to town which isn't too bad and not far from the lake.

Great location to visit Joseph and Wallowa Lake. The apartment was comfortable and had a well stocked kitchen. When we discovered that we were missing hangers in the closets, the guys brought us a pack very quickly. We had a nice chat learning about the popular sights and restaurants in the area. we loved, loved, loved this place! it had everything we could possibly need. I love to cook and this was the best equipped kitchen I've ever seen in airbnb. very clean and well thought thru design wise - with very cute details and very comfy beds. only 1 mile away from the lake and beach, with bike path right in front of the building and walking distance to all the restaurants (which are awesome btw) in downtown Joseph. hosts were very friendly and replied very fast. absolutely recommend this place!!!

Great location! The hosts were super responsive, kind and quickly responded to all questions. They showed up during our stay and provided outdoor chairs so we could enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Joseph was experiencing unprecedented high temperatures and we were so glad for the personal AC unit inside the space.

Great location right between the lake and town. Excellent communication from Todd throughout our stay and wonderful & quick response when we let him know of a hiccup we experienced the 1st night. The most comfortable bed pillows and comforter! Just a suggestion if you are noise sensitive like me, stay at their 2nd floor rentals at this location if at all possible as the folks in the unit above us were very heavy footed and walked around a LOT. Plus their adorable, giant dog ran around in the above unit frequently and early (6am!) But we love animals and can understand hearing the big doggie LOL! I would just definitely do a top floor unit the next time.

My friends and I really enjoyed being hosted by the the McKee brothers. The place was just as seen as in the pictures, cozy and clean. They always responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. Very safe house with a personal smart lock. Will definitely be coming back soon.

Super clean, well laid out, and very comfortable. Really close to everything, and Joseph is a very walkable town. 2 full size bedrooms next to each other, both with good sized closets. Might be a little cramped with 4 adults, but perfect for 2 or three adults plus kids. Was very impressed with this place. Again, super clean, yet very comfortable. Will be back!

The condo was just what we were looking for. It was close to everything we wanted to do, very cozy, and had everything we needed. They were also able to accommodate my 3 dogs which can understandably get tricky with travelling. I would definitely recommend staying here!
