Description

Welcome to "House in the Clouds". We are located high atop Walnut Mountain with amazing views of the mountains. The house sleeps 12 with 2 king beds 2 twin beds 1 queen bed, a queen Murphy bed and 1 pull-out queen sofa bed. Kitchen is stocked with everything from coffee to holiday dinner needs. Plenty of room for family gatherings our dining table seats 12, and did we mention the VIEWS!!
In the summer you'll enjoy the Olympic size community pool, courts and picnic areas.
7 miles from downtown Ellijay with fantastic restaurants and shopping. Wineries and breweries within a few miles. There are tons of outdoor activities, hiking, biking, fishing, tubing.....and on and on.....
Our place is on a well maintained paved road. We also have a generator that automatically turns on in the rare event of a power failure, so rest assured you'll be comfortable. Come to the mountains and enjoy some fantastic time outdoors in beautiful Ellijay!

House Rules

All guests must be registered on the reservation. No parties. Quiet hours 10pm-9am.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.

Great place for two families to meet
We love the House in the Clouds! It was spacious enough for 8 of us and had a bed for everyone which is often times difficult to find with 8 people (2 couples and 4 teens). We loved the view when we could see through the clouds, the house truly lives up to its name. The neighboring towns of Blue Ridge and Elijay were quaint and had great restaurants. Make sure you call ahead if you are a large party though even if ordering takeout as they may not be able to accommodate if they are too busy. We had that happen at River Street Cafe (?) It was a busy time of year though! The grill doesn't get too hot and may need to be checked. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back one day soon!

Charming. House and million dollar view!
We enjoyed our stay at house in the clouds! The game room downstairs was super fun and we played our childhood favorites on The Pac Man console. Great setup for traveling with an infant with a main floor bedroom off the kitchen. The pool is really nice and everyone we met in the community was friendly. Most important, the owners are great communicators and very responsive. Thanks for sharing your little slice of paradise!
