Seasonal mountain views and level yard make this a spot for family entertaining. Located close to downtown Hiawassee, Lake Chatuge, restaurants, Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds and Anderson Music Hall.

Neighborhood

Minutes to Hiawassee & Young Harris with restaurants, bars with live music venues, marinas, grocery stores, Chatuge Regional Hospital, a really nice free beach with playgrounds and picnic areas, anything you’d need. Close to Brasstown Bald, Helen, Blue Ridge, Dahlonega...

We love the #lakelife around here as well as the majestic mountains. So much to do and see right in town. Wineries abound; they’re everywhere! And a short drive to Helen for tubing or zip lining.

Notes

We love the #lakelife around here as well as the majestic mountains. So much to do and see right in town. We have a handy guidebook in the house full of places to eat, things to do, shopping, hiking and waterfall trails... Wineries with live music events and tastings are abundant! And just a short 25 min drive to Helen for tubing or zip lining, or a taste of Bavaria (it is styled after the Bavarian villages).
There are several excellent boat rental places in the area! We use Lake Chatuge Marine, Young Harris Water Sports, Boundary Waters... The fellas will help you out! All kinds of water toys too like jet skis, stand-up paddle boards, kayaks.
Hike or drive to the apex of Bell Mountain, which overlooks the lake below and provides picturesque mountain views. Visit Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Georgia. Trailheads of the Appalachian Trail, which spans from Georgia to Maine, are less than 10 miles from this home.

There’s a handy Welcome guide book in the house which details places to eat, where to shop, marinas, where to hike, waterfalls, all kinds of things to do...

House Rules

All trash must be in bags.

When checking out...
1) Leave used towels in the tub or shower.
2) Used beds should be left unmade.
3) Adjust temp settings. AC to 78* in summer. HEAT to 60* in winter.
4) Put all trash in bags in can outside.
5) Remove any opened food items from the frig.
6) If you moved any furniture, inside or outside, put it back.
7) Turn off lights, ceiling fans, TV...
8) Make sure all doors are locked and key is returned where you got it.
