| Well, our weekend started off on the wrong foot when the entry code we were given didn't work. We suspect whomever is managing the place is a bit too hands-off and forgot to enter it. A half hour later, we were given a new code and were able to get in. The place was cute, for sure, but it again became obvious that management is mostly hands-off. There was coffee, but it was for a coffee maker that was missing a pot. It had been replaced with a one-cup-style coffee maker, but no cups to insert. Oh well, the local Beans & Cream coffee shop is nearby & excellent! We found it challenging to figure out how to lock the coded doors (better instructions would be helpful for those of us who don't use code-boxes regularly). Same with the thermostat. Luckily, one of us has a similar one at home, so we were able to figure it out. Finally, the hand-towel ring in the bathroom fell right off the wall. Someone forgot to tighten the tiny little screw that holds them tight...we would've made the fix if we'd had a tiny screwdriver. Spending time in Sun Prairie was fun (lots of good places to eat and some cute shops), and we slept comfortably and quietly. Just wish management had been a little more attentive to details. | |

| The place was nice and clean and near our daughter. I realized when I got to my daughter's house yesterday that I didn't have my Kindle. We ran back on our way to the airport and it was gone. I had been reading it earlier in the day so I knew it was there. I am very disappointed that I called and texted the contact number twice to ask that they check with the cleaning people whom I assumed had found it and still have not gotten any sort of reply. | |
