We personally own and manage our properties and are COMMITTED to 5 star customer service and communication! 🎿 Whether you're looking to ski/snowboard in Summit and/or Eagle County, paddle-board in Lake Dillon or The Ponds of Silverthorne, fly fish in the gorgeous and relaxing Blue River, or hike through our endless trail system, we're confident your stay will be one to remember these days.
Convenient access off I-70 to multiple ski hills and modern conveniences, yet high enough in the hills for views and serenity. We can’t wait to allow families the opportunity to spread out, enjoy themselves and feel like they can get away!!
You'll have full access to the entire home including:
- Sleeps 10 in 6 proper beds. (additionally an Air mattress, Cot or Rollaway available if not sharing beds)
- 4 bedrooms: 2 King Rooms and 2 Queen Rooms (plus open loft on 3rd floor with Twin Day bed and Twin trundle)
- 3 FULL bathrooms and 2 HALF baths
- 4 car MAX allowed by county regulations. 2 car attached garage, plus driveway with parking for additional vehicles. (Larger trucks, cars or SUV's with Thule (or the like) may have clearance issues overhead. Those vehicles may need to park in driveway).
- 220 charger for Electric Vehicles (will need to bring personal adapter currently but you are welcome to use the outlet as we had it installed specifically for our guests convenience)
-Large private game room with air hockey, ping pong, ROKU TV and sound bar, cornhole, ladderball and PLENTY of games for all ages. Large coffee table and comfortable chairs for spectating, putting together puzzles or watching a football game on the TV. (HULU +Live, Netflix and Disney + offered for our guests )
- Plenty of hooks and storage for outdoor gear in garage and entry.
- Outdoor Private Hot Tub (with towels and bath robes hanging in each closet)

- Laundry room with access to brand new full size washer/dryer. Detergent,Dryer Balls available for guests. Cleaning products available if needed (and not on bottom shelves for safety of children)
-Access to paved trails beginning across the street, walking/running/snowshoeing trails up/down Ryan Gulch. Favorite trails including Lily Pad Trail finishes at the top. Additionally, National Forest access just a block away Enjoy a beautiful way to get out and explore nature with your friends and family. Our neighborhood Moose is often sighted, so educate yourself before you come on proper wildlife techniques.
The home is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible and does include a flight of stairs up to kitchen and living room.
-The Nest Mountain House is designed to bring friends and family together in the spacious common areas, while allowing all to have the space they deserve after a day on the slopes or just an amazing experience hiking in the hundreds of trails off the backyard and surrounding Wildernest community.
-Centrally located to MULTIPLE ski hills, lakes or ponds.
-Spacious floor plan with vaulted ceilings in the great room and lots of natural light. Includes a bonus loft (where office and daybed/trundle are located) area as well as a separate game room. Spacious south-facing deck affords great outdoor living space with mountain views. Convenient Summit Stage shuttle access across the street as well as some of the best hiking in the area via Gore Mountain Trail!
The house does not have air conditioning. It's very rare in homes in the mountains to have a/c because it rarely gets above 70 degrees and the cross breeze if windows opened can be amazing. Living room blinds being drawn closed during the day will help with the heat in those summer months. There are ceiling fans in the living area and 3 of the 4 bedrooms. The lower level bedroom stays the coolest of all so has a portable fan if needed stored in closet. There are multiple portable fans in closets. Please reach out
We would recommend renting a car (Love the app Turo), if traveling from out of state. Sure it’s doable without, but it will make life MUCH easier if you had the freedom of having a car at your disposal. Parking is pretty easy and at resorts towns, will be pay to park most likely.
Uber and Lyft are not prevalent up in the mountain towns but I do highly recommend (and have used myself) a local driving service, www.summitblackcar.com
Summit Stage (local free bus transit) has multiple stops within walking distance of The Nest-Silverthorne. Their number is 970-668-0999
If deciding to bring your dog, please disclose this in your reservation so we can plan our cleaning crew after check out as they plan for a longer clean.. Our pet fee is $120/per dog/ per reservation. Additionally there is NOT a fenced yard (just as a heads up). We love dogs, but PLEASE do not allow dogs to have free reign on couches, chairs or beds.Expectations would be to pick up and dispose of all dog waste from property. Pet waste bags are provided in our basket at the front of the home where paw towels stored.
If you plan to leave your pet unattended for a long period of time, please consider bringing their crate. Nervous pets can rack up expensive damage fees and we would prefer not to have anyone on either end deal with that. You know your dog best, but please make respectful choices with our property. We have additional rental agreement to sign with pet friendly property. Thank you so much in advance!
VIP Garbage service enters and closes garage every Tuesday (if you happen to be there on a Tuesday and want to get the waste into a bag and into the can for removal) Thanks.
