Grant County Airport is about 1 hour from the Lake Roberts Motel.

You can connect to the motel WiFi from the parking lot if necessary. There is a T-mobile tower a few miles west of the motel and T-mobile phones can get service about a mile west on Hwy 35.

Inclement winter weather: please note that Highway 15 and Highway 35 are not plowed on weekends and evenings. It is rare that we get enough snow to block roads, but we are in the mountains and it can happen (most years a couple of times). Please watch the forecast for Lake Roberts, NM leading up to your stay.

During the monsoon season (July/August) we get heavy rains some years that can cause the arroyos to flow across Hwy 35. Again, watch the forecast leading up to your stay.

Our 8 day stay at the Inn at Lake Roberts
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean. We enjoyed sitting in the screened in patio and watching the mule deer. We had a storm come thru one day and our water heater's pilot went out, I text Rayne for help and She was there to take care of it in a matter of minutes! ( WOW GREAT SERVICE ) !!!! If you are wanting to go stay in Lake Roberts This is the place to stay at. It was very peaceful and quiet. Thank You Lauren, and Thank You Rayne for a wonderful stay. You have a great HIDEAWAY !!!!!!! Thanks Michael, Irene and Pancho ( woof ).

Such a wonderful place!
Our family of 4 stayed in cabin 7 for a trip that we decided to take last minute. Booking on the website was fast and easy! However not only that Lauren was extremely nice, and communicative. The cabin itself had comfortable beds and pillows! The kitchenette had everything you may possibly need; and even the coffee they provide was great! ( I’m a big coffee person ). I also would like to add that cabin 7 has its own enclosed patio area which was I absolutely loved to hang out in! So so cute! I would 100% recommend staying here, and I know we will surely be returning! Truly this place has it all! Clean, comfortable, inviting, located in a beautiful area, and the convenience of the general store! Thank you Lauren and the Wild Gila hospitality team!

Cabin 7
We liked our stay! Loved the deer and the javelina. Here are a few suggestions: the lighting the cabin is very dim. It was hard to read. We pulled in a chair from the outdoor dining and read by the light of the bathroom. Brighter light bulbs needed or some standing lamps. The door stuck and made it difficult to open after you put int the code. Happened more tan once. Also, Please notify those who are coming from afar that the road between I-25 and Mimbres is closed! This added 1 1/2hour and considerable anxiety to our trip. Thanks Dede Feldman

Great Place Great Service
We stayed in the cabin over Thanksgiving, cooked an entire meal in the well stocked kitchen. Cabin was very comfortable, accommodated 5 adults very well. Staff is on site and very helpful. The motel is very close to some amazing scenic locations and lots of wildlife. I highly recommend!!
