Welcome to Pitzer Properties' "Coral Reef" You will flip out over this remodel! Why stay in a track home when you can stay in a true Fl. beach house? We took this neglected historic home & gave it all the love it deserves to restore it to the wonderful beach home it used to be!

Neighborhood

We are centrally located in the heart of Port St Joe. Easy to walk to downtown or the bay. We in are in a quite, quaint part of town where the beach cottages are plentiful. Please note that due to Hurricane Micheal some houses (thankfully only a couple left) are still being renovated (like this one was) and so you may hear and see workers throughout the neighborhood as well as throughout Port St Joe.

Transit

When you are ready to venture out, walk to Port St. Joe for shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Downtown offers cute shops along Reid Avenue, many restaurants and grocery stores. Don't forget to check out the historical Lighthouse and Sea Turtle Museum. We love our sea turtles! St Joe Beach is a great 5 minute drive with lots of open beach area. Mexico Beach is just a few miles away too. For an adventure, take a ride to Cape San Blas and visit St. Joseph Peninsula State Park for access to the beach and the bay. It offers natural hiking trails, miles of untouched beaches and access to launch kayaks or paddle boards. For an amazing experience, you can horseback ride on the beach from Salinas Park. If you are interested in wildlife and natural beauty, plan a trip over to St. Vincent Island by ferry boat for the day. Hike around the island and explore our native wildlife and foliage. About 30 miles away is the historical fishing community of Apalachicola. It's perfect for a day trip to do a little shopping, stroll along the Apalachicola River or grab some of the best seafood around! You won't be disappointed! There's so many options to do without crowds or traffic!

Pitzer Properties owns 5 homes within steps of each other so it makes for a great multi group getaway where each family still has their own privacy yet can be neighbors to family and friends. Reach out to us for more details!

House Rules

Pet fee must be paid prior to entering premises- $100 per visit - please coordinate with the owner. We love our four-legged babies here at The Coral Reef but please adhere to the follow requests: No dogs on the beds. There is a dog bed provided as well as a cover for the couch. We have also included a small basket of dog supplies that you are welcome to use if needed. We ask that you do not use any of the white towels on the dogs. In the basket you should find some older towels that we use for dog clean up. In the laundry room there is a baby gate and a dog crate if needed. And always please pick up any poop! You will find cleaning products under the kitchen sink for any accidents. Thanks!

We have provided guests at the Coral Reef with a fire pit out back. We ask that you use this fire pit with the utmost caution and respect. All guests who use the fire pit use it assuming their own risk and the risk of all guests and animals at the location.

Please do not have air conditioning running while doors are open. This will cause our unit to freeze up and not work.

Damage Waiver: The Damage Waiver is built into your reservation booking total (“Admin Fee”). This fee covers only unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that may have occurred during your stay. Damages must be disclosed to Host before or upon check out of your stay. The fee will pay a maximum benefit of $300. Any damages that exceed $300 will be charged to the credit card on file. NOTE: This is NOT insurance and only applies to ACCIDENTAL damages. Any damages that either exceed $300, are not disclosed prior to check out, or are deemed intentional, will be charged to the credit card on file.

VRBO cancellations are subject to all credit card fees incurred

Cancellation Policy

To receive a full refund, guests must cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
If you cancel between 7 and 30 days before check-in, you’ll be charged 50% for all nights.
If you cancel less than 7 days before check-in, you’ll be charged 100% for all nights.
All VRBO and direct booking cancelations regardless of time frame will incur the credit card fees associated with the refund.
Guests can also receive a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of booking, if the cancellation occurs at least 14 days before check-in again minus the credit card fees.
