Outdoor Area
Enjoy your morning coffee on the porch overlooking the trees and surroundings.

Whether your plans are to spend your days lounging in the sun at the beach, hanging out in the great room or outside by the firepit we have you covered! You can also go for a tour of the little towns or local breweries/wineries; explore the local provincial parks for a bike ride or hike; come stay and your adventure begin!

Space

You’ll love cooking a delicious meal in the stocked kitchen or grilling outside on the Propane BBQ. At night enjoy marshmallows around the fire pit or hang out inside playing board games or foosball.

Outside you’ll enjoy a back patio to entertain or relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. You can also soak in the gorgeous views of Lake Erie before sundown each day by the beach!

Living Area
Enjoy dining and lounging in the great room where you can also play piano or warm up by the fire. With many windows you’ll never miss the sunshine or breathtaking views. What better way to spend a cool evening than sitting around playing cards or watching your favorite show on our Smart TV.

Note we are getting a larger dinning table soon to sit 8 people, it currently only sits 6.

Kitchen
Enjoy the newly renovated kitchen with brand new appliances including a fridge/freezer, range, microwave, dishwasher, drip coffee maker, electric kettle, teapot, toaster, pots and pans, cooking basics, dishware, flatware and sharp knives. Coffee, tea, filters, sugar are also included. Propane BBQ is also available for use outside. While our cottage is a 10-minute drive to restaurants in town, you may want to stay in and enjoy cooking your own meals with your family and friends!

Basement
You can enjoy having a separate space for lounging, watching tv or playing foosball in the basement den (or a great space for the kids to hang out too!). There is also a 4-piece washroom (includes tub) and 1 bedroom in the basement along with access to the washer and dryer.

Total of 3 Bedrooms (includes 4 queen beds in total with a pull-out couch in great room and basement).
• Master: 1 queen bed, workspace includes desk and office chair, closet space, and en-suite bathroom with walk in shower.
• 2nd Bedroom upstairs: Includes 2 queen size beds
• Basement Bedroom: Includes 1 queen size bed and large closet.
• All bedrooms are fitted with bedding, blankets, and pillows.

Bathrooms:
All come supplied with towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hair dryer.
• 1 master en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower
• 1 main washroom upstairs with walk-in shower
• 1 4-piece washroom in basement with tub and shower

Pets are allowed in the house, but not furniture or beds. When booking note that we do charge an extra fee for pets due to the additional cleaning that is required after.

*Please note that because we are in a rural town, the Internet can go out occasionally. Outages usually don't last more than an hour and don't happen that often, but it's good to be aware if you're planning to work.

House Rules

Check-in time is 4:00 pm

Check-out time is 10:00 am - if you (or guest) decide not to follow any of our Airbnb house rules, of which triggers a refund or discount to the next guest, you will be held responsible for any loss of income to the host.

No unregistered guests are allowed to spend the night. The maximum property capacity is 12 people.

You are welcome to have fires in the fit pit at your own risk. Do not leave the firepit burning if no one is watching it, use the mesh cover to reduce flying ambers. Firewood is not provided, you can purchase from locals for $5 a bundle.

Be kind to neighbours, quiet time is 11:00 pm.

No eating or drinking in bedrooms. Please enjoy your meal in the dining room, kitchen or outdoor spaces.

Keep doors and windows with no screens closed at all times to avoid bugs coming into the cottage. At night try to go in the door with minimal lights on.

Report any damage and/or breakages in a reasonably timely manner. Damages exceeding the security deposit amount must be paid by guests and will be reported to booking agency.

Make sure to turn off the lights, appliances, and electronics when you leave the house. Don’t forget to close the windows and lock the door.

No smoking of any kind inside the property.

No parties or events are allowed.

Before checkout put any dirty dishes in the dishwasher and run the load and put all used towels on the floor in the washrooms.

Dispose of the garbage in the trash bin. Local garbage pick up is on Mondays, if you are staying with us on a Monday, we ask that you please put the garbage bin and recycling out by the mailbox by 7:00 am (or the night before). Also, put your garbage in the outside bin (close tight) before checkout.

Being in the country, our water is in a Cistern which means that it is drinkable but limited to the holding tank. We monitor it remotely to ensure that you don’t run out however try to be mindful of your water usage. We also have a septic tank so only toilet paper down the toilet please!

Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and are grounds for immediate eviction from the property.

Furniture is to be kept in its current placement, dragging chairs or tables on the floor will leave scratches and/or damage to the furniture.

Please be respectful of bed sheets and towels. Makeup/foundation, face medications/creams, and tanning products will stain and/or bleach linens and towels. Please avoid using white hand/bath towels with all skin products. Please use our provided dark make-up washcloths. Un-salvageable linens/bath towels will be charged to the guest, $20 for each damaged towel and $20 for each damaged sheet.

PET RULES >> No pets on furniture. Clean up waste and all pet messes (indoor and outdoor). Keep food/water bowls in the kitchen. Dogs must be leashed. No pets left unattended inside.

Cancellation Policy

Strict: Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.
