1. Check-in time is 4:00pm.
2. Check-out time is 10:00am - if you (or guest) decide not to follow any of our Airbnb house rules, of which triggers a refund or discount to the next guest, you will be held responsible for any loss of income to the host.
3. No unregistered guests allowed to spend the night. The maximum property capacity is 4 people.
4. You are welcome to have fires in the fit pit at your own risk. Do not leave the firepit burning if no one is watching it, use the mesh cover to reduce flying ambers. Fire wood is not provided, you can purchase from locals for $5 a bundle
5. Be kind to neighbours, quite time is 11:00pm.
6. No eating or drinking in bedrooms. Please enjoy your meal in the dining room, kitchen or outdoor spaces.
7. Keep doors and windows with no screens closed at all times to avoid bugs coming into the cottage. At night try to go in door with minimal lights on.
8. Report any damage and/or breakages in a reasonably timely manner. Damages exceeding the security deposit amount must be paid by guests and will be reported to Airbnb.
9. Make sure to turn off the lights, appliances and electronics when you leave the house. Don’t forget to close the windows and lock the door.
10. No smoking of any kind inside the Airbnb.
11. No parties or events are allowed.
12. Before checkout wash the dishes and put all used towels on floor by washing machine.
13. Dispose of the garbage in the trash bin. Local garbage pick up is on Mondays, if you are staying with us on a Monday we ask that you please put the garbage bin and recycling out by the mailbox by 7am (or the night before). Also put your garbage in the outside bin (close tight) before checkout.
14. Being in the country, our water is in a Cistern which means that it is drinkable but limited to the holding tank. We monitor it remotely to ensure that you don’t run out however try to be mindful of your water usage. We also have a septic tank so only toilet paper down the toilet please!
15. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and are grounds for immediate eviction from the property.
16. Furniture is to be kept in their current placement, dragging chairs or tables on the floor will leave scratches and/or damage the furniture.
17. We do have 4 foldable chairs, beach toys and noodles you can bring to the beach but please don’t forget to bring them back to the cottage. Only use the striped, yellow/aqua towels at the beach.
18. Please be respectful of bed sheets and towels. Makeup/foundation, face medications/creams, and tanning products will stain and/or bleach linens and towels. Please avoid using the white hand/bath towels with all skin products. Please use our provided dark make-up washcloths. Un-salvageable linens/bath towels will be charged to the guest, $20 for each damaged towel and $20 for each damaged sheet. You are welcome to use the hot tub at your own risk. All guests must follow the hot tub rules outlined below:
1. Do not allow young children in the tub unsupervised.
2. Do not have any electrical objects near the hot tub.
3. Do not consume food, drinks or alcohol whilst using the hot tub.
4. Do not use the hot tub whilst under the influence of Drugs or Alcohol.
5. Do not use the hot tub if you have an infectious disease.
6. Do not enter the hot tub with clothes on, only wear suitable swimming attire.
7. Do not enter the hot tub with footwear on or any other sharp objects.
8. Do not dive or jump into the hot tub.
9. Do not sit on the sides or cover of the hot tub.
10. Do not drain or remove any filters.
11. Do not use the hot tub alone.
12. Do not use hot tub if water gets below jets. You will need to refill hot tub with hose provided. To prevent this keep large splashes to a minimum.
13. Do keep the thermal cover on when not in use.
14. Do shower before entering the hot tub especially if you were at the beach (to avoid tracking in sand).
15. Do add chemicals as instructed. We have left some little packages of “Hot Tub Shock” on the side table by the back door, as noted on the label you can open one and put in the hot tub each day after use. This helps keep the water fresh, clean and bacteria free.

| I had an amazing two day stay. The cottage is very clean, cozy and quaint. The renters thought of everything - the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and more. The bathroom has baskets full of toiletries in case you forgot anything. They literally thought of everything. My favourite part was the hot tub. So relaxing and roomy. I highly recommend this cottage and I will definitely be returning. | |

| This cottage is beautifully appointed. Lovely and relaxing boho rustic feel to it. Hot tub is great as is the gaming table with all your childhood games from the 80s. My 10 year old thoroughly enjoyed playing Pac-Man, asteroids, centipede etc etc. Any game you could think of from your childhood was there if you’re my age. Lol. Lots of board games as well. Beach is small and signage is poor so a bit hard to find. But a beach it is and lots to do. Just a great experience bonding with my 10 year old. 😀 could not have asked for a better cottage. Highly recommend. | |

| We had sooo much fun and in the past have frequented a LOT of air b and b’s in Selkirk. This is our 5th time here and wowwwww this place definitely is by far the best we have stayed!!!! It’s fully stocked with anything you may need, the kitchen is beyond full off all of the best appliances, cooking essentials, and goodies one may need! Epic coffee and hot chocolate bar! And the ambience is soooo special!!!! We loved waking up to the birds and enjoyed riding our motorcycles all day long and had a blast with the late night bbq! Great game selection and just wow wow wow This place is the best bang for the buck! Comfy and felt right at home. More of a home experience then a cottage! | |

| Brianne was very responsive and getting there/checking in was very easy. The place has everything you need to be comfy. The lake is seconds away and the hot tub is a joy. Just a heads up that the place may get a few ants inside but not a big deal, just good to know if you’re sesnsitive to that. They didn’t get in our way at all. Also, the land in that area gets quite soggy after a big rain or big amount of snow melt so the yard can be wet with puddles for days after. It was fine for us, just be aware if you’re using the backyard and fire pit and bring proper footwear. Would definitely stay here again. I loved it. | |

| My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in January - we wished we would've stayed longer. Even though there wasn't much to do in the area during winter, we still took full advantage of the hot tub, game table, board games, and television. The TV came with most streaming services on it so we didn't have to worry about anything. The whole property indoors looked very new and had a very cozy feel. Would definitely stay here again | |

| We had a "moms weekend" and found the cottage was well stocked with essentials. Linens and towels were well ample and clean too. The donkey king games were a complete riot and we enjoyed filling up the high scores 😝. Hosts were SUPER responsive when we had a question and were flexible. Short walk to the beach was great along with a clean hot tub to chill. There aren't many amenities around so go prepared and plan to enjoy some nice chill til with Lake Erie in view from the cottage. | |

| My partner and I were looking to escape the city and relax in nature. This was the perfect place to do it! The location was right by the water, making it great for walks. The property was so cute and decorated perfectly. Brianne and Doug thought of everything! From all the coffee you could imagine, to pots and pans, and even toiletries you may have forgotten. We spent our time curled up in front of the fire, relaxing in the hot tub, and trying to beat high scores on the Pac-Man machine. We can't wait to go back! | |

| We had great time in beautifully furnish cottage at 903 Lakeshore Road, Selkirk. Cottage had everything we needed and more. Weather was perfect, so we enjoyed morning coffee on the porch with lake view, long walks along Lakeshore Road and the beach in the morning and evening. Hot tub was great, warm and therapeutic - perfect way to complete the day. It was perfect location for visiting Haldimand County and Norfolk County, everything is relatively short drive from the cottage, and nature was a breathtaking. Host Brianne was great! | This cottage is cute and cozy and renovated. It has everything you need to spend a few days and not worrying about anything. The instruction are easy and simple on how to get in. There is a fire pit and hot tub. Lots of games and water toys to entertain young kids too. 30 minute drive to Port Dover for dinners if you don't want to cook. it was a great place for my husband and I to have somedown time and celebrate our anniversary. | |

| This is the perfect place for a couple or small family, if you forget something off your list or leave something at home, Brianne has you covered, very clean well laid out small cottage, we were in awe with how clean and well stocked it was. Great location on Lake Erie, only issue was we there during the hottest days of the year to date and the a/c just couldnt handle it, but not everyone is a polar bear like i am. Definitely well maintained and updated cottage with all you could ask for | |

| We really enjoyed our stay at Brianne’s cottage! The cottage was new renovated with high quality features. It had an efficient use of space and was beautifully decorated. The whole cottage was spotless. Brianne responded quickly, was very welcoming and thoughtful; having a great attention to detail. The cottage was well stocked with kitchen supplies and even some toiletries if needed. We loved that we didn’t have to bring our own linens, towels, beach chairs or beach toys. We really enjoyed all the extra amenities at the cottage such as their board games, colouring books, arcade game, hot tub and camp fire in their peaceful backyard. The semi private neighbourhood beach was 4 houses down the road. The beach was moderately deep with soft sand. Along the waters edge there were a few small pebbles and depending on the day/wind levels there was a small amount of seaweed. Beyond the waters edge there was beautiful rippling sand and shallow waters perfect for young children. We would recommend this cottage to others and hope to visit again soon. | |
