What guests are saying:
Tiny, very old home
The pictures that are posted for the home make it look great. However, pictures are deceiving. It’s basically like a double wide trail. Pretty run down as for the house it self, and tiny. Even for a family of four. I feel the price to rent it , if kept the way it is should be way lower. The ‘yard area’ is all rocks and very hard to walk on. The pans were all rusted and needed to be replaced. It just wasn’t what I was expecting. If I decide to rent again in Sedona, I will make sure to read the reviews, and also pay even more for a luxurious home. Honestly, I couldn’t wait to leave and return to my own house. Oh and you’ll have the owner texting you and watching over you while staying there. The very first day we got there we checked out the entire house and opened the hot tub because we had planned on using it in a couple hours. Btw, the hot tub is basically under the whole house in the garage. Well, within one hour of taking the top off I got a text telling me he could see the lid was open and to shut it if not in use because there was a Monsoon coming. Update, there was no Monsoon that night. The reason we had opened it was because the chemical smell was so strong that I wanted it to air out before we got in it. It made us feel like we were being watched the entire time we were there. Very uncomfortable.
Magical is the only word to describe our stay...
We had the most magical experience staying at Land & Nature Lover's Private Paradise. Having dogs always makes traveling wonderful but at the same time, it's important to find places that are truly dog friendly. The house we rented was perfect for that and more. The two bedroom retreat is in the best location. We were literally walking distance from the heart of town yet the home sits at the edge of a forest and is beyond charming and tranquil. The house is very clean and felt spacious. Our favorite part was the large balcony literally facing the trees with views of the red rock. So peaceful and perfect for that morning cup of coffee or drinks at sunset. Right across the street is a charming park and historical museum and we loved walking our dogs there where they had lots of ideal opportunities for great sniffing. Jerry, the owner could not have been more kind and accommodating. The guy is so eager to please and his priority is to make sure that his guests are having the best experience ever. If you love nature yet like the convenience of being close to town and especially if you have dogs...this is an ideal place to stay!
Awesome Rental! Plan on staying there again!
We took our family for nice getaway. Our home was lovely. Very spacious, clean, and loved the ability to cook our own food. The views were beautiful. We loved eating as a family on the deck. The location is perfect. It’s close to everything, and yet so quiet and calm. We found our home away from home. I highly recommend this forest villa for any occasion whether it’s a romantic getaway or a fun family trip.
